Meet The Founder
Kristin Mitchell is the Founder and Creative Event Director of Gathered in Style, a Brooklyn-based creative events agency for brand and lifestyle clients.
With over 15 years of experience in high-end events and hospitality, Kristin’s work is driven by the belief that the guest experience is everything. She takes an artistic and thoughtful approach to every event — drawing inspiration from each client’s story and amplifying their aesthetic through curated design and attention to detail.
Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, Kristin discovered her love of hospitality early on. After college, she moved to New York to pursue a career in events through roles at Thomson Reuters and The Corcoran Group before going on to lead large-scale event and hospitality experiences at Wasserman.
In 2021, she launched Gathered in Style to offer a more personal, partnership-driven approach to events. Today, she leads a growing team of producers and creatives who share her vision for designing experiences that not only look beautiful but feel deeply connected.
Under her leadership, the agency has evolved beyond traditional planning into an integrated strategic partner. Gathered in Style enables brands to scale event and hospitality programs quickly at pivotal moments — and to leverage event experiences as a catalyst for growth and connection.
